1954 Bulletins

Two things are clear from the bulletins of 1954 and that is the evangelistic outreach that Warners Chapel had by offering support to at least 3 North Carolina congregations and 2 children’s homes. The other thing quite clear is a strong desire to be accountable for the contribution and how it was spent. In August, 1954, George Hickey left after serving for about 10 months and provided a farewell thank you in the bulletin. T. A. Isaacs would begin preaching in September. In October, the header of the bulletin changed slightly to Church of Christ Warners Chapel The Messenger.
