Mock was an elder at the Warners Chapel church of Christ in Clemmons, NC for 25 years. In 2004 Pat, D.C.'s wife of 42 years, died of cancer. He has since remarried and his wife Ingrid is now by his side. D.C. has made several mission trips to India, Thailand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia. While there he worked successfully with located preachers, helping them to develop leaders and eventually elders in the local congregations.
