TRANSITIONS

Doug Frazier has accepted the work at the West Jefferson church of Christ. West Jefferson is about 85 miles northwest of Winston-Salem, nor far from the Tennessee border.  Tim Canup, Milton Mathers, David Allgood and Howard Winters were the previous men who have worked there.

Doug has grown in many ways [though not in height] during his stay with us.  I am very proud of the great strides he has made.  Doug has continued to grow in sound doctrine through preparation of bible classes, sermons and lessons for VBS at South Stokes.  He has been involved with our youth and many will miss Doug's leadership and friendly cooperation.

Doug has matured since coming to Warner's Chapel last January.  He is determined more than ever to give his life to preaching the Gospel.  The acts of kindness that have been directed toward him have encouraged him to devote a higher level of service for the brethren. We can be proud that we at Warners have had a small part in his development as a preacher, but one that will enable us to share in all that he does for the Lord.

That is what we accomplish when we train men to preach. I have grown very fond of Doug.  I wish him well and will always make myself available to him as long as I live.  It will be a heart-felt transition for us all, who knew him well.  May God bless you in your service for Him.
