A BETTER LIFE
You know that there are some people that respond
the same way when you greet them with the phrase: “How are you doing!”
They never say that things are great or good. It’s always something
that’s not right or they seem grumpy on a daily basis. Life is too short
to go around with a poor disposition. Jesus said that He came to give life
and that we could have it more abundantly [See John 10:10]. If you are a
Christian, then you need to realize that you have an abundant life. Your
joy can be made full if you will only stop and appreciate all that God has done
for you. We could probably take some lessons from the family dog.
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Be loyal.
Avoid biting, when a single growl will do.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shade tree.
Never pretend to be something your not. Have you ever seen a dog pretending to be a chicken or a mouse?
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle him or her gently.
No matter how often you are scolded, don’t buy into the guilt thing and pout. Run right back and make friends.
And above all, love your [The] Master.
