WOULDN’T YOU LIKE TO BE KING?

Our Vacation Bible School will begin next Sunday evening at 6pm.  VBS will continue each night at 7pm, Monday through Thursday.  I hope that you have been encouraging and inviting your friends to come and join with us as we explore the some of the Kings of the Bible.

Have you ever thought about being a King?  Who hasn’t thought about being in charge and in control of nations?  Who hasn’t ever thought about being wealthy beyond your wildest dreams?  For many, being a King would be the biggest power trip ever!

As we examine these Kings of the Bible, we will find out that these men who ruled had flaws and problems galore.  We will be comparing men like David, Solomon, Hezekiah, and Nebuchadnezzar to the King of Kings: Jesus.

We will start out each night of VBS with singing.  As in times past, we will also have a short object lesson each night that will pertain to the story of the evening.  Each class will have exciting teachers who have decorated their rooms to enhance the learning atmosphere.  Snacks will be provided each evening with some special treats later in the week.

The adults will be led in their class by five very capable men who are excited to be with us and impart biblical truths.  They are: Johnnie Hutchinson, Doug Frazier, Will Winchester, Nelson Brockenborough and Mike Hogan. Let’s make this VBS the Best!
