SATANISM AND ITS EFFECT ON OUR TEENS (4)
By Paul Kirkpatrick
The followers of Satanism wear symbols of his [believed] satanic power. Some of
the more popular ones are:
THE BAPHOMET: An ancient half-man, half-god creature that has been adopted by the Church of Satan as the symbol of Satan.
THE INVERTED PENTAGRAM: Is a five-pointed star with two points in the upright position that reminds one of the horns of the Goat-god, Baphomet.
SAINT PETER’S CROSS: It is today recognized as a symbol of blasphemy and unholiness.
THE SERPENT:
Representative of Satan and all the forces of evil.
The prevalence and level of participation in satanic activities are directly
fueled by the type of music your child listens to. If your child listens to
Black (not racial, but spiritual) Heavy Metal bands like Metallica, Slayer,
Megadeth, Satan, King Diamond, Anthrax, and Black Sabbath, they are listening to
the most influential, anarchistic device Satan has to offer. “Carl Raschke,
director of the Denver Institute of Humanities, believes, ‘You might say heavy
metal rock is to self-styled Satanism as gospel music is to Christianity.”9
Role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons and many others contribute to the
subtle path to evil. Evil exists, and the line between illusion and reality can
be too easily crossed. How ironic that Black Metal rocker, Marilyn Manson gives
advice to parents while at the same taking no responsibility for his actions.
He said, “Parents should raise their kids to listen to an album and know the
difference between reality and fantasy.”10
Darrell Conley says, “We as children of God have no business flirting with
this, or any other form of occultism. The guidance we need for tomorrow and the
power to overcome the evils of this world can be found in the gospel of Jesus
Christ.”11
