Vacation Bible School
Our annual Vacation Bible School is scheduled for June 17-21, 2007. I hope you
have been planning your summer schedule around these dates and are excited to
attend. One thing I noticed from last year and the year before is that
statistically, there should be more visitors than we usually have. Vacation
Bible School is not only a means to allow our children to learn in an
exhilarating environment, but it also can serve well toward introducing others
to our church.
A lot of work goes into a Vacation Bible School. Not only are there teachers and teachers’ assistants that participate, but others who help in various ways. Those who work in the office and keep an accurate count of those who are present and those who have brought guests do so with near anonymity. We have hall monitors, parking attendants, cooks, refreshment providers, craft facilitators, song leaders and others. It takes quite a few folks to have a successful Vacation Bible School. Most of all, we need YOU! How would it look to our guests if our own members don’t come? Again we have a fine selection of men to teach the adult Bible class. If you will commit yourself to being here every night, I know you will be richly blessed.
