TALLAPOOSA MEETING

This past week I had the privilege to be the guest speaker for a Gospel Meeting in Tallapoosa Georgia.  Loren Barchett is the located preacher in Tallapoosa.  He has been there approximately three years.  I have know Loren for five years.  He interned with me in Orangeburg, SC for three months over a summer.  When I met Loren, I immediately realized he had great potential as a Gospel preacher, because he was firmly dedicated to serving God with all that he had.  That is exactly what it takes!

Loren has a wonderful wife, Eleshia, who is by his side and supports him in every way.  She is a fine mother to their daughter Makayla, who is seventeen months old.  They make a wonderful family.  The Barchetts will be coming to our annual Youth Rally in September and you can get to know them better then.

When two people work side-by-side as Loren and I did in Orangeburg and this past week in Tallapoosa, a special bond develops between the two. Working for a common cause and sharing a common love for our Lord, enriches both our lives.

In the same way, working together at Warners Chapel brings with it the same feelings.  Working together, side-by-side, we can accomplish much for the Lord.  It ought to always be that we enrich each others’ lives  as we strive to serve our Lord and show the world how much we love Him.
